I have extensively tested FAO in PMFBs using the Palmitoyl-Carnitine, Palmitoyl-CoA, and L-Carnitine.

Protocol: For maximal respiration we make sequential additions of 18uM PC, 20uM PCoA, and 5mM Carnitine. Addition of ADP induces a peak rate of O2 consumption that is not increased with FCCP addition.

Coupling state: OXPHOS, ETS"ETS" is not in the list (LEAK, ROUTINE, OXPHOS, ET) of allowed values for the "Coupling states" property.
