Description
Protocols can be selected in DatLab (DL7.1) which define the sequence of events and marks. Instrumental protocols are used for calibrations and instrumental quality control, typically without experimental smaple in the incubation medium. Substrate-uncoupler-inhibitor titration protocols (see MitoPedia: SUIT) proceed stepwise to activate a sequence of coupling control states and pathway control states. A specific SUIT protocol can be assigned to O2k-chamber A or B or both. The Titration-Injection-microPump TIP2k can be programmed to control automatically TIP2k-protocols. Standard protocols are provided. These can be edited and saved under 'Lab protocols' or under the user logged into DatLab.

Protocol editor
- The sequence of Events and Marks can be edited with names, definitions, concentrations and titration volumes. After a protocol is edited and saved under a defined name, the protocol has to be selected and assigned to one or both O2k-chambers.
- A. Instrumental protocols: calibration and instrumental O2 background test
- B. SUIT protocols: linked to titration solutions
- C. TIP2k-protocols.
