Topics Our research group is the world expert in cardiac energetics, where we build experimental devices for measuring energy cardiac energy utilisation in performing mechanical work at whole heart and tissue levels. We also investigate the efficiency of energy production by mitochondria to provide a more comprehensive understanding of fundamental physiology and pathophysiology at multiple spatial scales.
